Night of Worship
I would love to hear all of your comments on the Night of Worship. I have heard from a few of you, but would love to hear what you guys think about the direction that Bluegrass is taking. Any suggestions, concerns, comments and encouragement are welcome! love, wendy
I did hear a comment tonight at a focus team meeting that cracked me up....they said I thought "community service" was something that you had to do if you broke the law. ha ha ha....I had not thought of that before. Funny!
i truly worshipped last night. it was an amazing experience. i wish we did that every week! the mix of the instruments/sound, etc. was great. i think this is an answered prayer - it reminded me of a church mark & i attended right out of college. it is a big step for our church...but i think we are ready for it! it's going to take alot of people to make it happen and i pray we all support the effort in some way. love, jana
I think our church is heading towards the right direction. We need to feel the Lord when we sing. I know for me, when I sing praise and worship songs with instruments, ect....I feel him when I sing and that's an amazing thing! I am excited about this change! We need it!
i agree with jana and jennifer, i thought it was awesome, i enjoyed the leadership and the feel of the true "worship" experience. i teared up when they started "what a friend we have in jesus" because those type of updated hymns are something i have been wanting us to do for a long time. i am so thrilled with the direction that bluegrass is going!
I absolutely loved the community service! I definitely think this is the worship style for me because I love music and singing so much. I feel the spirit more through singing than hearing a message. I look forward to more of this type of worship!
I LOVED IT! (note the caps) I am certain that God was answering the prayer we've been praying for several years. I could feel it. It tells me that He is in this change with us and that really, really excites me! I thought the service was a powerful picture of authentic, passionate and inspirational worship. It left me wanting more and I believe it will do the same for our visitors. Again, I LOVED IT!

It was awesome. I cannot wait till this type of worship is on every Sunday. I could feel the Holy spirit moving during worship.
